JUNCTION CITY, Calif. — Community groups planning an event at Junction City Park can request use of the grounds through Trinity County General Services. The county’s facilities page says Junction City Park reservations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, including requests associated with recurring annual events.
What organizers must arrange
Applicants must submit a park-use application, pay the applicable rental charge and deposit, and provide proof of insurance or purchase special-event insurance as instructed by county staff. The park’s forms allow organizers to specify the requested dates, setup and teardown periods, expected attendance and desired areas. Some events may need additional approvals based on their activities, equipment or use of the grounds.
Trinity County lists the facilities contact as 530-623-1319, extension 9274 or 9275, and provides the email address Rentals@trinitycounty.org. Staff can confirm availability, current rental charges, insurance requirements and the final steps for approval.
Do not rely on old fee sheets
The county links to a Junction City Park form that has been revised over time. A price shown on an older copy may not represent the current total for a planned event; charges can vary by the area reserved, length of use and insurance needs. Request an updated quote before publishing ticket prices or inviting vendors.
County General Services separately administers several other community locations, including Hayfork Park and Weaverville facilities. Reserving Junction City Park is not the same as booking a different county park under those programs.
